Sam Taylor is an outdoor photographer and videographer specialising in expedition, adventure, and performance-led environments. With a strong creative eye and a practical, field-based approach, Sam produces visual work that captures authenticity, effort, and context beyond conventional commercial shoots.
With a lifelong connection to the outdoors, Sam brings extensive experience across mountain and endurance sports, including climbing, mountain running, bikepacking, paddlesports, surf, and multi-discipline cycling. This background allows him to work effectively alongside athletes and expedition teams, with a clear understanding of physical demands, technical systems, and environmental constraints.
Sam has worked with leading outdoor and performance brands including JD Outdoors, Mammut, Alpkit, Sonder Bikes, Wattbike, and Metron Cycling. His work has featured on the covers of major mountain bike publications, received multiple Photo of the Year awards from UKClimbing.com, and appeared in national media.
